Week 31
Hello Everyone :D
Yes I stayed, Elder Morley stayed. and Elder Phillips is our District Leader. I was up in Manurewa with him but different District. D's baptism went well; there were more people there than we get for church hahahaha guess that's what happens when you investigate for almost 2 years and come to church every week too. The stake presidency counselors sung with Jamie Fergusson (not sure of spelling) apparently people know him here.... Katchafire or something???
New Year's eve we had the Gizzy Elders, Elder Tamanaha, Elder Tibbitts and Elder Meek. Funny thing was Elder Tamanaha came out 1 transfer before Elder Morley, who came out 1 transfer before me, who came out 1 transfer before Elder Tibbitts who was Elder Meek's trainer (so 2 transfers). yeah... we just talked till midnight and then went to sleep yay so exciting haha :P
oh yeah, Elder Meek (yes .. american) just smelt the musk lifesavers I had and his face was funny enough hahaha "that smells like soap! you eat that?!?!?" hahaha
We plan for a busy January, let's hope it turns out that way haha
We met Lisa this week she's looking for a new church that involves her children more and teaches them things too... I think we can help her there haha hopefully we can catch up with them again all the new year's parties
My headache went away wednesday I think... I got a blessing monday night like you said. I was sick for Tuesday just sore throat as well and really really tired but I was fine on wednesday. speaking of the temple lights...... Did Carl and Meredith send you the photo???? I saw them there :D was good to catch up. they have 2 kids now. Some guy who works for the church also took a video of me and Elder Morley at the temple for something on mormon newsroom so don't know if we're going up or if we are up or whatever.
Oh and tell Shane Ormsby that Farrel Tipene is in my ward haha
Can you send the parable of the pencil maker please dad I think its still on your phone.. I mean tablet haha.
hahahaha we did some service this week; one for a non member lady who was so surprised we were being serious when we asked "do you need any help around the house... yard work ...?", "well I do", "when's a good time for us to come back then?" hahaha she nearly fell over that's how shocked she was, so we helped her clean up her yard she was very grateful we came like we said we would. "You came!! oh thank you so much, you a real help" hahaha
Then we did some service for an elderly lady in our ward; we measured and cut some wood for some garden bed frames and she asked "where did you learn carpentry Elder??" so you must have taught me well Dad.
