Week 18
HEY EVERYONE :D
Yup transfers no idea what's going to happen but I reckon I'll stay. MUM YOU WILL LOVE THIS Elder Goodman - the one who looks after the flats sent us this text once he dropped off the couch (see Photo)
CLEANEST FLAT!!!!!!!! AREN'T YOU PROUD? :)
So thanks for your scriptures Mum bc John really loves the ones you send (I share them with him all the time) he says "Mum's know best" so he said to let you know hahaha.
Scriptures for the week
Alma 57:21Here. Exact obedience done unto them according to their faith
Alma 57:25-26 Here. It talked about how the stripling warriors all received wounds during the battle but none of them perished. I thought about how that related to our life here on earth; throughout our life we all make mistakes, we sin and that hurts us but through the atonement we can be saved and don't have to perish
Alma 58:40 Here.
Helaman 7:29 Here.
Alma 62:40 Here.- they were spared bc of the righteous
Helaman 14: 30-31Here. it's all up to us what we do
Well this week I met a member from Bankstown who was visiting NZ and asked us to come teach her friend. that was pretty awesome (except her friend wasn't interested... but that's ok, they can choose what they will)
My raincoat ripped around the shoulder so I'm going to stitch it up today (I've already stitched it once before but the wind ripped it open again.)
THIS WAS THE FUNNIEST so Elder Butler and I were on trade offs and we came across this while tracting. A fence clear across the path HAHAHA I'll send the photo. (Photo below)
It was very windy this past week - crazy weather again.
We're also doing a choir for a tristake fireside so we're singing and i maybe playing, not sure yet bc i think they wanted to do without piano.
Yeah its been another quick week
Last night we met this other old guy Frank said he was an "undecided atheist" nice enough man, he'd been to salt lake HAHAHA just like everyone else here "Are you from america??" "NO I'm Australian" hahahaha they see a white young looking guy with a badge and immediately assume AMERICA hahaha.
We've had a few referrals this week from the mission office... only problem is the address doesn't exist or they don't live there :/ but we try our best.
Hope you all have a wonderful week :D
LOVE YOU ALL, AROHANUI
