Week 23

Hey Everyone.

The week was quick... esp since wednesday was spent at the chapel the entire day... (Study then interviews + training then mcm) and then Thursday I had a trade off with Elder Butler (we thought it was hilarious that his mum had said in his email last monday that she had talked to a Terri Cox on facebook and I was sitting next to him in the internet shop) so we took some pics to send back to you two hahahaha. And you can tell his Mum that Elder Cox says Elder Butler is a good missionary. he really knows his stuff and is a hard working and while looking at the catalouge I saw Gluten free weetbix???? is that a thing now??

J is doing well - he has lots of questions which is good I suppose but sometimes it's hard to explain something bc he goes off track a little. B is hard to get time with bc he's so busy but he is still quite interested so yay. Its hard to catch anyone really sleeping or working or out shopping I wish they would just stay home so I could teach them. The less actives are getting there, we just keep at it with them and the spirit will bring them back eventually.

No ... not many emails recently... Alice usually sends one through every 1-2 weeks. Siale has been good the past 2 weeks haha The Partons send some through, me and Joel send each other 1 liners every now and again but sometimes its just the one from you for the week :) - when I see 4 in the inbox I get excited hahaha.

We mowed Brother R's lawn and he was 78 so he gave us some birthday cake too he has us over for FHE quite often and he's so so good with missionary work - He got his neighbour to come to FHE and then he said he taught him the Plan of Salvation during the week. Bro R is always willing to come to lessons with us.

Interviews were quick... President gave me some advice about things. the training took most of the time but that was really good. It was pretty much back to basics and understanding how to study and plan better.

There's a truck in the area that has food in it that they're just taking to the pigs (still good to eat tho) and the guy said we can come and get stuff out of it if we want so I got some bananas the other day haha.

Saturday we got back to our flat and it smelt like we went on a camp - we had left the window open and our neighbours had decided to have a hangi so all the smokey smell from that blew into our flat, we had to air the place out haha. The Alfriston ward had their primary presentation yesterday, the primary kids are funny sometimes when they say their parts. and they sing pretty loud here. Oh and we went to see Sis H after church and a turkey decided to attack me HAHAHA. she wasn't home tho...

Also they have this thing called Guyfawkes over here where everyone just buys fireworks and sets them off... so they were going from Monday (the Guyfawkes day is Wed) and Wed night it sounded like a civil war 'bang bang bang' everyone in the street. and they still were doing them last night. so loud it sounded like guns.

Scriptures this week (yep there's lots):
3 Nephi 12:10-12 Here. We've had quite a few people yell at us this week,I tend to just laugh at them, but my companion gets a bit upset and angry, so I shared this one with him to try and get him to not be so bothered.

@ DAD
Oh wonderful ... more spies haha. Tell isaac to hurry up and join us in Hamilton mission will you hahaha just get the whole seminary class there :P (One of Reilly's friends has received their mission call to the same mission as Reilly. She also was in his seminary class with him. He is meeting people in NZ who know us or Reilly's grandparents, so he can't seem to go anywhere without seeing/finding someone who knows us in some way!! Hence he thinks we send spies to keep watch over him!!  :P)

Here are the photos for the week (might be in a few emails)
