Week 34

Hello Everyone :D

This week was good Elder Morley didn't get sick from me being sick last week, but his bike did haha we had to fix a flat and buy a tyre (yes tyre and a tube) there was a rip down the side of the tyre so we changed that over and stuck a new tube in as well (it had a slow leak we had to pump it up at the petrol station all the time)

No appt with the Chinese family I think her husband is still in Auckland. L has been busy this week or so she says in the texts I really hope it is busy and not "busy" but we'll keep trying and inviting them to activities. So we taught this family this week, we found them a while ago; knocked on their door and set up an appt but then they were out so we popped round again and they said to come this week; actually we met him playing volleyball in the park with some Samoans one night and before you ask, of course we played with them hahaha creative finding :P and we met her walking on the street one afternoon last year but she said maybe another time. so when we knocked on their door the other week (wait did I tell you about them??? N and A) anyway we were like hey its you.... oh and you too.... haha so we finally got to teach them this week on Wednesday and on Saturday we went to invite them to a baptism but only A was home and she said that they felt happy after we had visited with them and their kids (V and Al) were playing nicer with each other and kept asking when we were coming back hahahahaha. so we're going this Wednesday. We've been trying to work with Sis V's brother S (btw I weighed myself there and I'm  65kg......)

Sis H (the one who speaks Mandarin) has been busy and us going over by ourselves is just like "Hi... you doing good? ok, see you" Elder Morley was just thinking when I was lying down on the ground last week...."What are you up to?? get up."

Yeah I was going to say HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!!! AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI what's funnier is its a public holiday here too (auckland anniversary or something) but I'll just tell em its for Australia Day hahaha.

Speaking of the Sierra's, Tasmin emailed good to hear from them hahaha you better keep that blog updated now :P

@ DAD: speaking of food hahhaha guess what Pops (did I tell you who Pops is???) put into a salad....... banana.... this wasn't a fruit salad mind you. leaves and cucumber and all AND BANANA hahahaha

oh and I'll send some photos of our p day at the Hamilton Gardens

gotta go reply to everyone else now

Love you all
Elder Cox

Week 33

Hello Everyone :D

This week's been a funny one haha the New Zealander's all think I'm crazy; "How are you wearing a long sleeve shirt in this heat!!??!?" "uhhh... it's not hot......" it was probably like 25 or something hahahaha or we'll be at dinner appt and they'll say its hot and get a fan and point it at us bc yknow we're the Elders to which I say "you're the ones who need the fan, I'm used to this heat in Australia"

another night we had 'pudding' (dessert) first and then dinner... I don't know why they all say that here instead of dessert bc we weren't eating any pudding, it just confuses me; I think we're going to be eating pudding and then they bring out ice cream or some other dessert thing that isn't a pudding. anyway we went over and the chicken wasn't ready so we just had dessert first while we waited for the chicken to cook hahaha

Talked with a lady from Canberra was doing some gardening so we asked if she'd like some help "only if you're not going to charge me" hahaha we laughed at that "nah free" "but you're in nice white shirts" "it's alright" so we helped her out, she started asking us questions about the church but yeah she's from canberra just staying for a week so we can't really go back to teach her, but we left her with a Book of Mormon.

We caught up with that Chinese family this week, well the wife, the husband wasn't home so we couldn't go in, but that was a good thing..... funny story that.... they won't forget the Elders now that's for sure haha.  So we took our member who can translate, they had set up an appt and all bc well it's kinda hard for us to do that when we don't speak mando. (Mandarin) so it was in the evening and earlier that day my stomach was feeling a little off but yknow missionary life just get out there and stay busy so we ride to their place and meet the member there and we get there and I'm feeling a bit sick but didn't want to cancel bc we've really been trying to get to teach them. So we knock on the door say hello and we're talking for a little bit and then typical me when I'm not well or anything goes wrong with me, guess.... go on guess....... of course, I feel dizzy, so I sit down, that doesn't work so I keep going and lie down on their driveway (see, good thing we couldn't go inside) now Elder Morley, the investigator and our member we're probably wondering what I was doing but idk I'm not them, anyway I blacked out for like a split second (lucky I had already lied myself down in the recovery position) and came back round and threw up on there driveway...... yup they're not going to forget us Elders haha. she was ok tho, she got some tissues so I could wipe my arm clean we got the hose and cleaned up the driveway, but we gave a restoration pamphlet (in chinese) and asked her to read the first vision and pray about it and said she would. (well our member asked her). After that we went back to the flat and I proceeded to empty the rest of the contents of my stomach (I don't think you want me to send that photo :P (and yes there is a photo of it haha)) not sure if it was something I ate or a stomach bug but I'm feeling better now.

L liked church didn't come yesterday :/ we'll catch up this week tho, she knows the Hendersons so we've tried to organise a FHE kinda thing with them.

Yup I got part one last night hahaha got a call from Matt Tini's brother and he came and dropped it off to our flat hahaha. (Part 1 of birthday box!!)

Yeah Siale sent me an email " I'm so spiritually up lifted and have a stronger testimony it's not funny like I could break bricks with my testimony!" the man. hahahaha Good to know how he's doing.

Elder Morley needed some pants and we found this ugly suit so here's a photo of Elder Phillips wearing it (they we're with us at the shop) the pic doesn't do it justice - its even uglier than it looks in it

Scriptures this week
2 Nephi 27:23 Here. a God of miracles
2 Nephi 28:30 Here.
2 Nephi 33:12 Here.
Romans 8:16-18, 31 Here.

Week 32

Hey Everyone :D

increasing sunshine???? never heard that before....

Hey.... that's the scripture I was going to send you guys this week...
I even wrote it down in my planner; Romans 8:28. Here. coincidence... I think not hahahaha

L and her kids came to church this week and they said they would be there next week too. YAY :) B has disappeared off the radar. G a bit of the same but hopefully we'll catch him this week. We took an investigator; C, to the VC (visitors centre) for a fireside and then afterwards they showed Meet the Mormons have you heard of / seen it ?? its a nice little movie. he enjoyed it but we don't think he's in our area.. (just out of) he came to church and he said he lived off P rd (in our area) so we'll probably pass him to the other Elders who cover his area we'll see.

Zone meeting this week as well (see photos) they did an object lesson about using tools we have as missionaries to find new people to teach so I started off eating the icecream with a pin (I think I did better than they had hoped at eating it) then moved up to a lollypop stick as everyone started to list some tools and then the list got massive so they gave me a shovel/spade haha anyway point was we need some tools to use bc if we don't they don't get any icecream but it we try use everything the other person just gets overwhelmed and can't "eat the icecream" (accept/learn from our message) so we need a balance (a spoon). I was just happy to eat the icecream hahaha. the Zone was pretty shocked when I ate it off the rusty shovel but hey just some extra iron into the diet :P hahaha (My boy will eat icecream any way he can!!)

There'll be a General Authority tour in march. don't know who, but we've been asked to read the book of mormon before and ponder the question "how does the Book of Mormon fulfill its role as Another Testament of Jesus Christ?" i'm up to 2 Nephi 21. I should be able to finish it in time.

We went and did some more service for the lady Sis H again except it was more of us this time.

Met a Hipolite (however it's spelt) apparently big name in the church. He served in Melbourne west mission and in Tassie for a bit so he laughed when I said I was related to the Woolleys "HAHA half of Tasmania".

I don't really know what to put in the my family book... so yes please the more stories the better :) its alright... hasn't rained very much anyways and I have that jacket thing for now we'll see how well it works when winter hits hahaha

I thought about a boomerang for my box hahaha :P nice big park to throw it around on. any flavour licorice, just Darrael Lea bc those things the Yanks call Twizzlers are NOT licorice, more like flavoured plastic (we've had some of those...)  (Answers of what to put in his birthday box that we are sending over)

Scriptures
Rom 8:28 Here.
2 Nephi 10:23 Here.

The Elder, Sister H, and the Sister missionaries.

Week 31

Hello Everyone :D

Yes nice and warm :) Jarrod K (where I skyped from) told me yesterday "why'd you tell you're parents to send some of the hot over?" hahahaha they don't seem to like the warm weather here haha and yeah I've got a sunburnt nose :/ so I've put sunscreen on. We just started afternoon church =.= but at least those investigators can't complain about Church being too early now (at least this year haha)

Yes I stayed, Elder Morley stayed. and Elder Phillips is our District Leader. I was up in Manurewa with him but different District. D's baptism went well; there were more people there than we get for church hahahaha guess that's what happens when you investigate for almost 2 years and come to church every week too. The stake presidency counselors sung with Jamie Fergusson  (not sure of spelling) apparently people know him here.... Katchafire or something???

New Year's eve we had the Gizzy Elders, Elder Tamanaha, Elder Tibbitts and Elder Meek. Funny thing was Elder Tamanaha came out 1 transfer before Elder Morley, who came out 1 transfer before me, who came out 1 transfer before Elder Tibbitts who was Elder Meek's trainer (so 2 transfers). yeah... we just talked till midnight and then went to sleep yay so exciting haha :P
oh yeah, Elder Meek (yes .. american) just smelt the musk lifesavers I had and his face was funny enough hahaha "that smells like soap! you eat that?!?!?" hahaha

We plan for a busy January, let's hope it turns out that way haha
We met Lisa this week she's looking for a new church that involves her children more and teaches them things too... I think we can help her there haha hopefully we can catch up with them again all the new year's parties

My headache went away wednesday I think... I got a blessing monday night like you said. I was sick for Tuesday just sore throat as well and really really tired but I was fine on wednesday. speaking of the temple lights...... Did Carl and Meredith send you the photo???? I saw them there :D was good to catch up. they have 2 kids now. Some guy who works for the church also took a video of me and Elder Morley at the temple for something on mormon newsroom so don't know if we're going up or if we are up or whatever.
Oh and tell Shane Ormsby that Farrel Tipene is in my ward haha

Can you send the parable of the pencil maker please dad I think its still on your phone.. I mean tablet haha.

hahahaha we did some service this week; one for a non member lady who was so surprised we were being serious when we asked "do you need any help around the house... yard work ...?", "well I do", "when's a good time for us to come back then?" hahaha she nearly fell over that's how shocked she was, so we helped her clean up her yard she was very grateful we came like we said we would. "You came!! oh thank you so much, you a real help" hahaha
Then we did some service for an elderly lady in our ward; we measured and cut some wood for some garden bed frames and she asked "where did you learn carpentry Elder??" so you must have taught me well Dad.

Scripture:
1 Nephi 22: 30-31Here.

birthday box... hmmm? I'm out of musk lifesavers :P maybe some licorice again :) I'll let you know

Love You all

Reilly, D - who got baptised, and Elder Morley.

Week 30

Hello Everyone :D

:D It was good to get to see and talk to you guys too.

No cake yet.... I told him when we stopped by their house to get out of the rain one time it was really bucketing, that was the day my scriptures got wet. anyway he was saying how he liked mint patties and cherry ripes when he found out I was from Sydney (bc you can't get mint patties here) and I told him about the cherrry ripe mudcake recipe you have and he goes "oohhh I gotta try that; I love cherry ripes and I love mudcake so thats just gonna be awesome".

Oh and we have spoons now (see photo) :P hahahaha we got back on friday I think and we see this plastic bag someone poked thru the window. Me and Elder Morley knew who it was haahaha

an excerpt from President's email to us:
"On New Year's Eve I will allow you to stay up and see the New Year come in if you promise to behave yourselves and be in bed asleep by 12:05.. No wild parties with loud noise or music. Each companionship should be in their flat alone by 9:00. If it starts to get dark then you have permission to return home earlier. I do not want you on the streets after dark. "
New year doesn't sound like too much of a bludge... not sure I'll even want to stay up I'll probably be too tired bc we're working at the temple tonight again (I don't think I need anymore photos of it hahaha)

Everything should be good with D.
we met a firefighter Gregory (he's busy with shifts at the moment) but he says he's searching for the right church for him (he was a referral from the temple lights) so he got our number and should set up a day he's got off early Jan he said maybe (10th or so)
Sister H (the one who speaks Mandarin) had here baby and is settled back in so hopefully we can start teaching the chinese family again

yeah ... we talked on thursday so not much to say either.

How do you make Ma's dessert yknow the one with mandarin and marshmallows?

Love you
Elder Cox

Week 29

Hello Everyone :D

Yep I'll see you thursday at 12 or 1 our time so is that 10 or 11 you time??? at the Elder's quorum President's place. We are allowed 60 mins. see you then. I figured if I got it out of the way in your morning you can spend all night with the Filos and don't have to leave early :)

Yes Dan Moeke told me he was talking to Matt and so did Bro Henderson and Bishop Nordstrum. This week was pretty hectic, we found a new investigator D had a Book of Mormon had read it and had some questions about it. we caught him just in time as he was heading out, perfect timing as usual; Heavenly Father's pretty good with that stuff ;P but bc he is working through Christmas and new year we're going to see him on the 8th Jan. D is still good for his baptism on the 3rd.

No box yet, it's sitting in the ZL car.... I did get some letters from my friends this week tho :D I guess they have more time to write now that uni is on holidays.

So Mission Conference was great and guess who stayed the night at my flat!!! ELDER TAYLOR!!! (I think I've mentioned before Reilly and Elder Taylor have known each other since they were young, so he's always happy to catch up with him while they serve in the Hamilton mission) the Gizzy elders stay the night bc it's too far a drive so we got back monday night after temple lights at 11pm (its ok if you doing stuff at the temple lights you're allowed to get back that late) and we find 4 gizzy elders at or flat Elder Smith, Elder Razband, Elder Faloon and Elder Taylor. anyway so 6 showers the morning of mission conference so got up early too, we were all very tired that day... Then at the mission conference I meet Elder Nalesoni who remembers me from Doonside (he was in Glendenning) he said "you look exactly the same just taller, I remember a shorter you running around the chapel" caught up with all the other missionaries esp the ones back in Rewa apparently I'm missed :) hahaha that's what Elder Sim said and Elder Butler's son Elder Lingwal says he still goes round saying "Elda Cox" (he really emphasises the fact that we don't pronounce the 'r' on the end) we had all these different sessions one talked about studying the scriptures good one from that Jacob 2:8, Here.  and 3 Nephi 17:3 Here. we need to ponder what we have already learnt and  prepare our minds before we get more knowledge. there was another about defending our Faith we were in little groups for these sessions (oh and guess which group I was in - ORANGE :P (his favourite colour!!) haha) another one was about the events leading to the Saviour's birth and one was unity building games where we had to think outside the box a bit.

last Thursday I taught our Book of Mormon class it was Jacob 5 so I taught it using lego (well duplo really) D said he liked the lesson and it was simple and easy to understand bc after he had finished reading (people are meant to read the chapters during the week and then we explain/ expound in the class) he was abit "huuuhhh whaaattt???" and he wasn't going to read 77 verses all over again haha but some verses from there Jacob 5:41, 47 Here. "What could I have done more.." and its true what can He do more he has already done everything.

@ DAD: so who isn't coming to my mission (Someone that Stoo knows has a daughter going to Hamilton mission in April 2015) ..... and yeah you'll see me thursday

Oh and Jared (Elders Q Pres) would like your Cherry Ripe Mud Cake recipe so if you have it on a blog somewhere or whatever you can tell him thurs or send it through and I'll pass it on :)

Other Scriptures:
Ether 12:41 Here.
1 Nephi 17:3 Here.
Jeremiah 10: 3-4 Here. THEY TALK ABOUT CHRISTMAS TREES IN THE BIBLE!!!!

If I missed anything I'll see you thursday,
Love you
Elder Cox

The Elders from Gisbourne that stayed at Reilly's flat.

All the missionaries arriving for Christmas conference.

Gifts they got from the mission for Christmas.

Week 28

Hey Everyone :D

Speaking of Bishop Nordstrum..... ask Matt Tini if he knows him Bro Dan Moeke was saying he knows Matt and Bishop did too, as well as Bro Henderson so yeah ... let him know ask about them because they're all in my ward. and another thing with Bro Moeke.... his family are Ruwhiu"s (sounds like roof-yoo) that name sounded familiar.... do you know anyone with that name .... Hebersham stake perhaps???

So this week went really quick. We did service at Camp Tuhikaramea (where mission Conference will be) there will be some photos

We met an anti-mormon dude on thursday night (pretty much just having a slog at Jospeh Smith and the Book of Mormon, even though he's never read it) he reckons that his spirit felt uncomfortable in one of our church services ... I thought to myself 'something must be wrong with your spirit then'. after telling us how wrong our church is I ended up just bearing my testimony to him and then he said he had to go somewhere... typical hahahaha

D is all set for baptism 3 Jan. And B says he wants to be baptised too  so we just got to work with him to figure out a date (he did say the 13 Dec; last saturday but there wasn't much time and then he said the next day he thought it was a little early but he's still keen to get baptised) that's not his real name but everyone calls him that ... even his Nan.

We did go see Buddy (yes that's his name) on Rescue visits and he came to church on Sunday.

Yes the Flying fox was very fun :D

Christmas conference is at Camp Tuhikaramea.

@ DAD: Yes I'll let Jared know and ask him all about playing body guard..... and yet another reason I should've listened to you..... I played in Sacrament meeting yesterday, should've learnt them hymns haha

@TAYLOR: warmer than NZ rain!! Planetary Annihilation will be there when I get back i'm sure. you have time to play xbox and your laptop with all that work? good luck trying to get Dad to play haha :P

Tonight we are going to the temple lights as like the guides or something idk just stand around and talk to as many people as possible and get as many referrals as possible and all that.

Scriptures:
1 Nephi 5:21-22 Here.
1 Nephi 9:6 Here. He knows everything
1 Nephi 15:11, 25 Here. Don't you remember what He has said??, exhort with all the energies of my soul
Jacob 4:10 Here. don't tell God what to do; He knows better than you
D&C 68:6 Here.

Love you
Elder Cox

Week 27

HELLO EVERYONE :D

This week has been great! when you get out there and just get to work and ave the faith that the Lord will make up the rest, miracles happen. We found a Chinese family (they don't speak very good english mind you) but one of the members in our ward served in Taiwan and so can speak with them they told her that they've come to church once before and that they felt good, but they go to another church because they speak chinese there and they can understand. I'm ke jeung lau (Elder Cox ...'ke' is for cox btw)

We also got a referral from Sis M - B - a 13 yo boy who moved into the ward and was being taught in his last area we've only met with him briefly once but I have a good feeling about him; I'm pretty sure he wants to be baptised. and he has really good friends for him too a member family that seems like they moved in with him. they say they've been going to church with them for 3 months or so.

I did meet Heather on this Sunday :D she said it was good to see a fellow Australian, and if I needed anything to just give her a ring and she'll probably drop something off for Christmas. she's in the ward that meets in the same chapel just in the afternoon instead.

No I didn't get to put up any trees :/ except this one... although I did get to put up some lights :P (see photos)

(yep guess who does the temple lights here :) THE MISSIONARIES HAHAHAHA so that was our service this week, go put up some temple lights for a few hours (oh and I guess for another service I fixed the sisters bikes too because they had a flat tyre)
btw Have you guys seen "He is the Gift" ? if not go watch it now christmas.mormon.org and share it on facebook. that's how you can get organised for christmas
Yes we're having a mission conference on the 16 Dec don't know too much about it yet.

Last P'day wen't to the park, there was a flying fox, I got some good pictures send them in next email.

You met Moses hey! yeah he's awesome, speaking of small world..........
GUESS WHO I MET DAD!!!!!!!! ELDER CHRISTIE FROM APM (he said he's the younger cooler one hahahaha) so we went over for a FHE and we had the lesson played some games. anyway we're having food after and he was talking about Elder Morley because they know his family and then he says to me "oh you'll see that everyone in NZ knows each other" and i said "dw i'm used to it, everyone knows my Dad back home..." and then after talking a little more he said something about serving in Perth and i go "what years", "ooohhh '88 (something in the 80's i can't remember)", "i think you'd know my Dad, he served in Perth too", "Cox....... Elder Cox..... looks a bit like you" so i grab my camera and show him the one picture i have of you guys (my setting apart) "OOHHH ELDER COX!!!! I remember him!" and so we kept talking and then he asked about Mum and where she's from and all this other stuff. pretty well - SMALL WORLD. HAHAHA

Recipes... ummm... ones with horse :P haha idk... cheap ones preferably, anything will do.

@DAD: it's not hard to buy spoons its just i'm doing perfectly fine with chopsticks... and yes, you can actually eat weetbix with chopsticks. isn't that right Elder Morley  "yeah you did it last night bru" and I have had icecream for breakfast once or twice, that's actually really easy to eat with anything, spoon or no spoon.

@TAYLOR: Sister Paulo asked how you're doing (she knows you from Hebersham stake and me from Rewa) she's in one of the nieghbouring Zones but there was a fireside at the VC last night so and of the Hamilton area Zones get to go (Glenview, Temple View, Rotokari) HAHA you got rain too. I bet its warm tho!!

Week 26

HELLO EVERYONE :D

long as email this week...... and everyone emailed too hahaha (it's always like that)

I don't get it either ... this is the first summer that I turn the heater on in the morning.... and the people here were complaining it was hot last week and then they'd look at me and laugh.

The new area is nice still strange weather. I forgot to tell you which ward I was in I realised halfway through the week. Claudelands ward. Elder Morely has been out one transfer before me. We're having a blast. D is really as shy as they say bc I still haven't been able to properly meet him. yesterday was stake conference for this stake. met pretty much everyone though.

So yep I met sis Vuataki..... steal my news to share...... and you wonder why I don't have long emails - you already know everything i'm going to email :P. Yeah so we were talking and she mentioned how she served in Sydney I said I was from Syd and she asked where. Parramatta I said. "oh that's in the south mission I was in the north" so you'd know my mum then "you're mum?... Oh Sis cox is your mum! of course... oh so I know your parents. yep Bro Cox made me report a scratch on my car that I didn't even do - I got the car like that" hahaha

Sis P said that there seemed like there was just too much to do to get back and it seemed impossible to make it so why bother trying so i said "Just take one step at a time. do one thing and then once that's easy, try to do something else too. you don't have to do everything all at once; you don't have to be perfect as soon as you come back"

So in short.... don't drive with a trailer......
Gisborne is where you get all the nice photos. (In last week's email.....somewhere...I think I edited it!!...Anyway, Reilly told us that there were no spoons in his flat and he was eating his breakfast cereal with chopsticks...which were in the flat!!  So this is his answer to was it fruit loops you were eating with chopsticks??!!) no it wasn't fruit loops it was milo cereal.

About my week;
Scriptures:
1 Nephi 17:6 Here. trials are nothing compared to the joy at the end
2 Nephi 2:2 Here. trials = gain
2 Nephi 33:3 Here. I know he will hear my cry
2 Nephi 33:10-11 Here. if you believe in Christ you will believe these words
D&C 60:13 Here. I've had to play piano here alot (you guys were right... there aren't other missionaries who know how to play...) (We told him before he left that he should keep practising the hymns we sing at church because he might have to play the piano while on his mission..... he thought that he wouldn't need to!!)
D&C 61:36 Here.
Heb 13:5 Here.He will not leave us

can you send some jamie oliver 15 min meals. I figure they'll be the only ones I have time to cook on the mission.
I ate some horse at a tongan members house. tastes pretty good.
I met Elder Ngunugtau from liverpool stake he knows Pres Shum and Wong and Patriarch Chou Lee.
stake conference was good...I'm running out of time so that will have to do...

Love you all
Elder Cox

Week 25

Hello Everyone :D

Guess where i'm at........................................................................................ no guess ................................................................................................ .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................srsly guess ........... ................................................ ..... ........ ...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... ok i'll tell you

I'M IN GLENVIEW (it's right next to Hamilton) so the weather isn't much use this week but thanks anyways :) and I'll get to see the temple lights (or so they say)

Elder Prasad stayed in Alfriston, Elder Wangsgard went to Gisborne (lucky guy :P) so I have to meet all the investigators and LA in this ward but the ones I've met seem to be going well. D wants to be baptised the end of the month (hopefully :/ he might change his mind tho... he's kinda shy from what I hear)
Sister S was in our area of the ward and oyster... I wouldn't buy it to eat it but if that's all I had to eat... I don't see what all the fuss is about they don't taste all that great....

No photos of me eeling. and sisters didn't catch anything.

Still the Pied Piper :P and on Sat we had MCM at the WML house (he's a kiwi and he married a Filo (who speaks Visayan but isn't from Cebu so I might learn some stuff to speak to Taylor) and their daughter just came right up to me and stared at me and then ran off giggling. hahaha

The New Zealanders will tell you "it's hot!" and I'm there in my long sleeve shirt looking at them like.... you srs... its like 21....... this is the end of winter..... Some heat would be nice ... although... at least I don't get sweaty on the bike.

@DAD: Yes it got away (the eel)... the rod broke so I grabbed the line, then the line broke.... the rod was one of the LA in the other Elders half who was with us (they brought a bunch of rods)  we went eeling the week before after emailing last week Pday we emailed and then went and cooked waffles and chilled at the flat bc it was raining (can't go eeling when it rains bc water gets too high - that's what sis Mc said)

So my comp is Elder Morley, guess where he's from (I won't do the ... this time) HASTINGS NZ!!!  he's half maori, and the funny thing his there were 5 of us from Rewa Zone (manurewa) who came with me to Glenview Zone - Elder Gilmore (hahah we've been together since mtc :P ) Sis Moore (was in my district in rewa and in my district now), Elder Phillips (in my district now), Elder Matthews (now my ZL) and me :)

My new Flat is FILTHY ABSOLUTELY FILTHY so I have to clean it. and there aren't any spoons  so I ended up eating my cereal with some chopsticks I found.

Some questions:

How do you clean a white shirt that got bike grease on it.... can you??
I had eczema on my face (or at least I thought it was) and I was meant to email and ask how to clear it up 2 weeks ago but it seems to have fixed itself for now. but for future how do I fix it?
and I wake up with a sore jaw bc i've been clenching my teeth. any suggestions??
also any tips for driving with a trailer dad?? just incase next transfer they want me to drive (Elder Butler had to drive back to Manurewa and he'd never driven with a trailer before, and then Elder Romney (my ZL down here) asked if anyone knew how to drive with a trailer too)

Scriptures: (so the ones I wanted to send would be in my old planner at the flat so you get this mornings)
